Pet/Familiar: A blond rat named Jasdero (SEE WHAT I DID THERE), who he's rarely seen without. When he is, it's usually because Jasdero is hiding somewhere in his clothes.
Bio
Devit is the second youngest member of a very rich and prestigious pure blood family that's descended from a powerful wizard named Noah. The family (collectively referred to as the Noah Clan) has a reputation of being paramount in the field of magic, and so there are high expectations of each and every one of its members.
Unfortunately, Devit doesn't always live up to those expectations. He screws up a lot, doesn't excel where the family feels he should, and often finds himself out of their good graces. In order to prove himself (while at the same time trying to prove that this doesn't bother him at all and that he DOESN'T CARE, OKAY), he overcompensates for everything. He's extremely emotional, he projects his issues onto other people, and his reactions are regularly overblown. So basically, his personality is pretty much like it is normally!
When he arrived at Hogwarts, he was almost sorted into Gryffindor* but ended up in Slytherin because he wanted it so badly. It would have been an embarrassment to be in any other house, of course, when every other member of the family was a member of Slytherin! As a result of this, though, he's sort of a misfit among the House. In an effort to fit in a bit more, he fell into Rufus' bitch posse early in his first year. Unfortunately, that didn't work out as well as he'd hoped. To this day, he's more or less a grunt to them and often gets in trouble for SHENANIGANS while they get off scot free. Even though he HATES IT and is INSANELY JEALOUS of every one of them, he puts up with it because he's just that desperate to be recognized as the COOL and AMAZING PERSON he wishes he was.
When he's not being a pathetic kiss-up, he's busy being pathetic in other ways. One of his favorite pastimes is tormenting the House Zombie, Shito, because he feels like he can get away with it and also to prove he's not like THOSE OTHER SCHMUCKS that are all like, "Oh Shito, so dreamy, I wish he was my boyfriend. *A*" ...Except for the fact that he is like those other schmucks and partially torments Shito in order to get his attention.
As far as his education goes, his marks are average. The classes he most shows potential in are Charms and Transfiguration, and if his professors are patient, they may find a good student in there. ...Somewhere.
His favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures, though he'd never admit to it in a million years. The story is that he only elected to take that class because all the other electives sucked, and he's sticking to it!
Appearance
First of all, IGNORE THE ICONS. Coming up with this background was difficult enough; I didn't feel up to the task of figuring out a Noah equivalent in the HP world, so Devit is HUMAN for this virus. XD; No gray/brownish skin tone. No stigmata. No gold eyes. Instead, he has light, pale skin and green eyes. And yeah, I'm pulling that out of my ass, but I don't know what he looked like as a human, and I felt this was an easier route. >_>;;
Other than that, he looks pretty much the same! The only other thing that's changed are his clothes, obviously, but he does still wear makeup.
Misc
The Noah Clan is also known for its prejudice against mudbloods, and Devit is no exception. His reasons for hating them don't extend far beyond "WE ARE SUPERIOR" and "I HATE THEM BECAUSE I'M SUPPOSED TO", but the hatred is very much there.
He's probably seen in detention occasionally.

Hmm... We could say that Devit's had his class in a previous year, or I could be mean and say he's been in Excalibur's class every year since arriving. |D idk. I'm not sure he'd be familiar with him otherwise. :|a Which way do you want to do it?

Well, it'd start out pretty harmless, just name calling and the like, but since his reactions are kind of hilarious there'd soon be pranks along the lines of switching around ingredients for potions, and generally just making fun of him and his fail, annoying him to pick a fight. Also HEY DEVIT, SEEN THE ZOMBIE LATELY I HEARD YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM- and so on.

Hey, I have an idea. Is Envy associated with Rufus' posse at all? I haven't really checked to see who is or isn't in the past day, but if he isn't, maybe he and Devit could meet IN detention? Like, they would've seen each other in class at times but never struck up a conversation until seeing each other in detention? I think that might be fun to play out. :>

Nope! Envy's got his OWN posse! Though, I need to see if any characters want to actually join in. Otherwise, it'll just be a bunch of NPC groupies.
